Reflections and Milestones: Falcon Building Group 2024 Highlights
As 2024 draws to a close, Falcon is taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with progress, achievements, and milestones. To mark the occasion, members of the Falcon team have shared their personal highlight from 2024 – a moment that stood out to them as a defining part of the year.
Here’s a glimpse into the moments that shaped our year:
Ben Trimmer (Director)
“The highlight for me was our end-of-year strategy workshop with Kevin Nuttall from Waterfield Consulting, this was a great interactive and insightful session and helped us refine our vision and strategy for Falcon Building Group over the next 3 years. Exciting times!”
James Trimmer (Operations Manager)
“The standout moment for me in 2024 was the West Coast Sport Centre projects. It was a real win – not just because everything went so smoothly despite the challenges of a remote site, but also because it was our first big concrete tilt panel job.”
David Trimmer (WHS & Quality Assurance)
“The highlight of this year was the significant progress we made in advancing our WHS and quality processes and systems. We not only strengthened our safety protocols but we refined our quality control measures to ensure we consistently deliver the highest standard of work – showing Falcon’s commitment to excellence in every project we undertake.”
Mark Hawksley (Construction Manager)
“The rebranding of Falcon Building Group’s corporate image—transitioning from our old logo to a fresh, modern look—was a standout moment. Another highlight has been building strong client relationships, especially with major corporate companies such as Veolia, Cleanaway, Elders (Harvey Norman), Opal, and Tas Coachlines. Falcon Building Group has made great strides in forging and establishing our name, not just in the north of the state, but statewide as well – at FBG, we build!”
Dion Hemelaar (Construction Manager)
“Seeing the Strahan Sports Centre precast concrete panels arrive on site, and having a successful install!”
Tyson Skipper (Construction Manager)
“A highlight for me this year has been starting the Funeral Function Room project at Westella Funerals. It is the type of architecture I enjoy building, and I am excited to see it come together to completion!”
Jessica Trimmer (Accounts & Council Liaison)
“The rebrand was a standout moment for me. It wasn’t just about changing the logo or colors – it really sharpened our focus on where Falcon is heading. It gave us a clear direction and renewed a sense of purpose. What stood out the most was how it brought us together as a team creating a shared energy and excitement that’s carried through to project delivery – agile together”
Janae Trimmer (Sales & Marketing)
“The obvious highlight for me this year was launching our new brand and seeing how it resonated with our clients and partners. Our updated branding helped us to create even stronger relationships with our key corporate clients like Veolia, Cleanaway, and Elders, which was incredibly rewarding and reinforced the impact of aligning our marketing with Falcon’s long-term vision.”
Germae Inot (Estimator)
“The biggest highlight of my 2024 with Falcon Building Group has been landing the job! I joined the team in August and have had the exciting opportunity to work on over 30 various project costings since then.”
2024 has been a pivotal year for Falcon Building Group. From rebranding our corporate image to successfully delivering complex projects like the West Coast Sports Centre, we’ve sharpened our focus and strengthened our presence across the whole of Tasmania. We’ve refined our processes, built stronger client relationships, and set a clear direction for the future. With a solid foundation in place, we’re ready to tackle the opportunities and challenges ahead in 2025.
