Falcon Building Group completed the fit-out of the new Lovisa retail store at 92 Brisbane Street, Launceston, delivering a fresh and modern retail environment in the heart of the Launceston CBD. The project involved the transformation of an existing tenancy into a contemporary jewellery retail space designed to align with Lovisa’s national store standards, with a strong focus on presentation, customer flow, and high volume product display.

Timelines & Expectations

Working within an active CBD retail precinct, the project required detailed coordination and efficient delivery throughout the two week programme to ensure the store was completed and ready for trade within Lovisa’s required timeframe.

Scope of Work

The scope of works included:

• • Internal demolition and tenancy preparation works
  • Flooring preparation and installation of new floor tiles
  • New wall systems, wall finishes, and painting throughout the tenancy
  • Installation of mirrors, MDF battens, skirting, and merchandising wall systems
  • Installation of joinery, gondolas, wall bays, and POS counters
  • Installation of illuminated Lovisa signage, piercing signage, and lightboxes
  • Shopfront upgrade works including awning cladding and tiled finishes
  • Electrical upgrades, lighting installation, power, and data integration
  • Plumbing works including sink installation and sanitary pump integration
  • Coordination and installation of specialised retail display components and acrylic merchandising systems

Challenges & Key Outcomes

Retail fit-outs require detailed coordination, particularly when integrating large volumes of branded fixtures, merchandising systems, lighting, signage, and client supplied components within a tight delivery program.

For the Lovisa Launceston fit-out, Falcon Building Group coordinated the installation of extensive retail display systems including wall bays, gondolas, mirrors, acrylic merchandising fixtures, illuminated signage, feature lightboxes, and specialised jewellery display components supplied through Lovisa’s national procurement network.

The completed fit-out delivers a bright and highly functional retail environment that maximises product presentation while creating a clean and consistent customer experience throughout the store. The refreshed shopfront and illuminated branding also enhance Lovisa’s street presence within the busy Brisbane Street retail strip.
