Falcon Building Group was engaged to deliver the complete fit-out of Tai Chi Chinese Traditional Massage’s new clinic at Meadow Mews Shopping Centre in Kings Meadows.

The project transformed an empty retail tenancy into a warm, inviting wellness space designed to provide a premium experience from the moment clients walk through the door. Every aspect of the fit-out was carefully considered to balance functionality, comfort and a contemporary aesthetic that reflects the Tai Chi brand.

Timelines & Expectations

Working within an active shopping centre environment, the project required careful planning and coordination to ensure the fit-out progressed efficiently while meeting centre requirements and minimising disruption to surrounding retailers.

From demolition through to the final finishes, Falcon worked closely with the client and project team to bring the vision to life while maintaining quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Scope of Work

The project included the complete internal fit-out and façade transformation, including:

• Construction of four private massage treatment rooms
• Reception and customer check-in area
• Comfortable waiting area
• Staff room and amenities
• Custom reception joinery
• Feature timber-look batten wall panelling
• New flooring throughout
• Feature illuminated wall signage
• Electrical and lighting upgrades
• Custom façade with integrated branding and illuminated signage
• Internal painting and finishing works
• Installation of privacy curtains and treatment room fit-outs

Challenges & Key Outcomes

Creating a relaxing wellness environment inside a busy shopping centre required thoughtful planning and high quality finishes.

The façade became a standout feature of the project, incorporating timber-look battens, custom illuminated branding and a refreshed shopfront that gives the business a strong visual presence within the centre.

Internally, the layout maximises every square metre, providing multiple treatment rooms while maintaining an open and welcoming reception area that enhances the customer experience.

The Finished Space

The completed fit-out has given Tai Chi Chinese Traditional Massage a fresh, modern space that’s practical for staff and welcoming for clients. From the custom reception and waiting area through to the private treatment rooms and new shopfront, every part of the project was built to create a calm, comfortable environment.
